God doesn't ask us to go through anything that he hasn't gone through himself. He came as a man, suffered terribly and died. In addition to this is, "Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows." Isaiah 53:4
All the grief we feel here on earth he feels with us.
MARCH 15 MORNING
Perfect through sufferings.—HEB.2:10.
My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry here, and watch with me. And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.—And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.—Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.—I looked on my right hand, and behold, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

I think we take suffering, especially His, too casually. We just look for a way to get out of it, and accept the suffering Jesus did for us as something He was just kind of fated to do, not as a distinct choice He made because He loves us.

To stop and ponder what our Lord did for us while we were yet sinners is almost unimaginable. I pray to never take for granted the great price He paid for me...

Good morning, everyone. I am so grateful for what God has gone through for all of us.
That is so true sis God been through the suffering and we don't even have a clue as to what real suffering really is. We complain when we have to wait for things, we complain when it takes to long, we want God to answer us right away when He says NO! I need you to suffer for a while...We really do have it easy...What would we do it we really had to suffer like some of these third world countries who have to write bible verse and pass them along and if caught they are killed....We have liberty and freedom and we waste what God has blessed us with...
Desiray- I often think of people who live in other countries and what they suffer. We do need to be prepared to suffer for God or simply because we live in a fallen world.
