In Quietness.

The nation of Israel was afraid of their enemies. They sent to Egypt for help. God told them they should not rely on swift horses or other nations for help, but to rely on Him.

"In returning and rest you shall be saved;
In quietness and in trust shall be your strength.
But you were unwilling, and you said,.'No, we will flee upon horses...'"

"Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you,
And therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
Blessed are all those who wait for him."

"And your ears shall hear a word behind you saying, 'This is the way, walk in it,' when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left." Isaiah, Chapter 30.

Sometimes I go to people for help and answers and I think that is okay once in awhile. But I think the Lord wants us to go to him for help and direction most of the time. If we go to him in quietness and trust then we will hear his words in our heart.
