The Powers of the Heavens will be Shaken.
When I see all the natural disasters that are occurring in the last 10 years, I am reminded of what Jesus said about the end of time. He said that the powers of heaven would be shaken and men would be fearful. Here are the verses that quote him:
"There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves. Men's hearts will be failing them in fear with the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.
Then he told them a parable; Behold the fig tree and all the trees; as soon as they put forth leaves you see it and know that summer is now near. So you also, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near." Luke 21:25-31

I have been telling people to look up and watch the sky, we just never know; the birth pains are coming much closer but not sure if we are there yet; but when we are, I know it will be a glorious time for those who believe and a sad time for those that realized Jesus was telling the truth, that is why it is soooo important for us to get the message of Good News out of Jesus to a dying world that needs to hear his redeptive message.

So true. I feel so sorry for those who do not want God in their lives. It just breaks my heart. If they only knew how wonderful a life with God could be! Not perfect, or lacking in suffering, but just knowing he is there and loves us.
