Renewal.

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind..." Romans 12:2

"Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day." 2 Corintians 4:16

Although, when we first give our life to Christ, we may be conformed to the world; yet God promises to change our hearts day by day. We do not become what we should or could be overnight. It takes time for our hearts to change; in fact, it takes a lifetime of learning. So, as Paul says, "Do not lose heart." God is patient, let us be patient with ourselves.
